Experience the meditative process of coiling alongside Joanne in beautiful Sonoma, California- lovingly called the Valley of the Moon! Joanne will teach you how to effectively roll thin coils and use them to build forms inspired by traditional Korean Moon Jars. Join us at Kala Stein's studio, La Haye Art Center, 148 East Napa St., Sonoma, CA 95476 for this rare hands-on workshop!
$450 includes enrollment in the workshop, registration fee, clay, tea, coffee, and light snacks. There is free parking at the studio. A once-fire option for your Moon Jar is available for $25.
Space is limited to 15 participants. If this workshop fills, we will add a second workshop of the same size for Tuesday, October 1 and Wednesday, October 2. This platform does not allow us to cap enrollment, so there may be an glitch if someone signs up after we reach capacity. You will be contacted via email if so.
